All Scouts: Scouts must attend over 50% of the Troop Meetings and it is preferred that scouts participate in one camping trip in a six month period. (Time periods run from Aug. 1 – Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 – July 31. Scouts must attend a minimum of two camping trips in a scout year. Since Troop Meetings are in five month segments scouts get the months of July and August free for the respective time period.) Scouts must attend a minimum of two community service activities in the scout year. Failure to adhere to this policy will delay a scout's advancement, since "scout spirit" will not be completed. (Any rare exceptions must be voted on by the JLC.)
